I am a CNRS researcher working at the Insect Biology Research Institute (IRBI, University François Rabelais of Tours).
I am an ecologist with broad interests in how Nature works. Fundamentally, I am as much excited to understand the mechanisms behind life as I am curious of watching uncommon species or behaviors. Although I am deeply interested in natural history since I am a kid, my aspiration for research really started early during my University studies as I was working on an inventory of orchids and dragonfly species in an area near Paris. Since then, my interest in both plant and animal ecology and physiology always remained, although my records show clearly more about animal than plant research!
This web site is first to show things that I do. But I expect these pages to evolve gradually with the inclusion of students etc.
